I have 8 pistols and my alpha foxtrot 1911E DLC 9mm is my pride and joy. There is just something special about the 1911 that can not be put into words it’s just an amazing pistol.

My GX4XL was not on the list. Maybe they didn't tell you what the problem was because of pending lawsuits or it's just confidentiality reasons. As long as they fixed others guns posting here, that's all that matters to me and I am not going to lose confidence in the newer and improved pistols and the reasonable prices as compared to other manufactures.

Looks like a combo of a Beretta Cx4 inside of a Beretta APX. Bergman system is cool and innovative. rotating barrels have been around for a while.

Have and older version of this. Shoots like the Beretta PX4 but I think the ergos on the Q1 are better. Love it.

Does anyone find the comp to help? I really couldn't tell a difference between the comp and non-comp version to be honest, so I was probably going to go without it and get a longer barrel.

Most of my friends that own guns are bikers. And most bikers carry a lot of stuff on us (if we don’t have a glide) + some sort of protective gear…. or at least a hoody in case it gets chilly. So they all open carry, but not many people notice the guns between so much stuff 😂

This is what I’ve been wanting for a while. The longer slide is actually nicer for appendix carry, it helps stabilize the grip from wanting to flip out over your belt line and carries closer to the body. If they made a full 5” I’d carry that.

I can tell you why. They have to keep innovating and trying to overcharge the citizens to make up for that low ball government contract.

i learned combat pistol on a colt combat commander. i have had the new striker fired pistols, the glocks, the sigs etc. i am going to stick with a Cosaint arms double stack carry pistol ..

Nice guns, but none of them are near the AR15 price point at this time, most of them are several times the price of a lot of different AR15 makes.

I much prefer cc over open carry. Seeing from the general public's viewpoint open carry can be quite intimidating. Cops do it all the time. If you chose to open carry to overcompensate for a lack of testosterone the public may have reason to look crosseyed at you. Cops often become cops to donthat too. Playing the odds, I suspect, the element of surprise of conceled carry more often than not is a much bigger advantage than a negative. Walk softly and carry a big stick. Meek is not weak. It is power under control. I see no need in freaking people out unnecessarily. I welcome an objective discussion on the psychology of open carry vs conceled carry. It might be enlightening. Remember the unexamined life is not worth living.

Im 53. I was trained on 1911a1s in 1989 & was issued a worn .45acp in Korea, 1990. Do I own or carry any? 2024? No. Im left handed. I also dislike grip safety designs. On any carry-duty type pistol. 1911s had a long run but, 2024 its over.

I own several GP guns as well as comp and race pistols from other manufacturers. I wouldn’t throw the Mk23 into the fray against steel frame pistols but I’d run it against any polymer frame all day long. I personally carry this pistol because of its shoot ability and ease of control. Their importer, Global Ordnance, produced a rifle, in collaboration, with Grand Power, called the Monolith and it is definitely worth the buy as well.

My first 1911 was a Colt in 38 Super. A Great gun! I have since purchased one in 45 acp. Which is obviously more impressive. However, don't underestimate the 38 Super cartridge. I love them both. Great Video
